Golf Cart Attendant - Lake Blackshear Resort
Coral Hospitality , one of the top management companies in the hospitality industry, is currently searching for hardworking Golf Cart Attendants for the Lake Blackshear Resort & Golf Club located in Cordele, Georgia! Our ideal candidate will be engaged, hands-on, and prepared to operate a "best in class" resort! Lake Blackshear Resort has 88 rooms, villas and lake cabins. Classic, minimalist-style on beautiful 8800 acre cypress lake with restaurant, bar, fitness center, conference center, marina with a lake restaurant, 18 hole-golf course designed by Denis Griffiths, hunting preserve, fishing and family/children’s programs.
Summary: Under the direction of the Golf Course Manager and Pro Shop Attendant, this person will provide support to the golf course by insuring golf carts are clean for customers.
Qualifications: This is an excellent entry level position or a position for a retiree who wants a part time job. Pay is $8.00 per hour plus many employee benefits including free golf during your off time.
Hours and days: Typically the golf course is open Monday through Sunday. Hours will typically be from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm or 1:00pm to 8:00 pm. Successful applicants will usually work 2 to 4 days per week.
Duties: Remove all trash from carts and place in trash can. Empty trash cans when full.
Wash golf carts to free them of mud, grime, etc.
Make sure all clean carts have a new score card and tee's.
Stage carts at the Pro Shop for guest to occupy. At the end of the day, make sure all carts are stored in the cart barn.
Insure tire pressure is correct in carts.
Flag carts that need maintenance.
Gas golf carts when needed.
Keep the Cart Barn clean inside and outside.
Remove trash from the Golf Pro Shop and Golf Parking Lot to place in dumpster.
