Senior Maintenance Technician - Lake Blackshear Resort / GA Veterans State Park

Our campus is comprised of 1,308 acres of pine and hardwoods located on a beautiful 8,800 acre cypress lakefront - Lake Blackshear.   Lake Blackshear Resort has 88 rooms, villas and lake cabins, a full service fine dining restaurant and bar, catering, seasonal food and entertainment lakeside, conference center, marina with boat rental, and 18 hole-golf course. In addition we offer 82 camp sites (of which many are water front), a pioneer camp area, 3 community shelters and 4 open air picnic pavilions, swimming beach, 3D archery course and a military museum and static military displays of planes, cannons and tanks.  

We are managed by the Southeast's premiere hospitality management company, Coral Hospitality.

The Maintenance Technician reports directly to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for all buildings and structures within the Resort and Park.  Duties include:

Basic electrical repair

Plumbing

Air Conditioning Repair Knowledge

Painting

Drywall Patching

Carpentry

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years prior experience as a Maintenance Technician with some exposure to Hotel/Resort properties or similar environment that requires good work, hospitality and customer service skills.

  • Hands on knowledge of HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and General Maintenance
  • Any certifications/licenses in Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC, EPA Refrigerant etc. are a strong plus.
  • Prior Supervisory experience is a strong plus.
